We had a great Student Jam Session this time. In attendance were, Roger Touvell, Stephanie Harnetty, Mike Lepi, & myself. Everyone had a great time! We played a lot, and had a lot of fun. We sang and played the song "Everybody's Talking," made famous by Harry Nilsson. Working on backing up singers, and using knowledge of the melody line to enhance your instrumental work. Also some blues work, and others. Come on out to the next one, you are always welcome!
Looking to schedule a Jam Session for this Sunday. It has been a few weeks since our last Jam Session. So hopefully a time frame will work out for Sunday. I will stay in contact with you, and send out the confirming notifications tonight or tomorrow. Don't forget about a DIGITECH RP200 (with BOOKLET), if you want to add an effects pedal experience to your set up.
I will be singing "Why Won't You Say Goodbye," tomorrow night, for the "Sundown Showdown" contest at Sailor Joe's in Buckeye Lake. The contest includes between 10-20 Solos or Duos (performing, either, 1 or 2 songs each). This will be round 1 of the contest. Feel free to come if you want to cheer me on! Starts at 7:00pm.
A private Graduation Party from 1pm-3pm before the "Poker Run & Rally" at the American Legion 6pm-10pm. It's gonna be a marathon day!
Remember, if you are looking for something to do, come out to the American Legion 6pm-10pm [Open To Public].
Don't forget to attend the "Relay For Life" [Cancer Society] Event @ The Musk. Co. Fairgrounds. It'll be a good afternoon. Never attended in previous years myself, so I'm looking forward to it! My band will include:
