Steve Spires Music Lessons

Students and I have been working on some NEW songs. "I'm Not The Only One" - Sam Smith, "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" - The Beatles, "Watermelon Man" - Herbie Hancock, and "Imagine" - John Lennon to mention a few. The Saturday Student Jam Sessions have been working really well. Played "Margaritaville" a couple times ago as well as the usuals. If you would like to sign up for lessons with me contact me on the "Contact" page, or call or text me at, (740) 221-4076. Thanks everyone!

News

I'm really excited about the upcoming shows! The Baltic Winery, New Year's Eve with DoubleCut @ The Musk Co Fairgrounds, and a later date next year with Dead Man's Dew in Columbus, OH. Check the "Tour Dates" feed, for details. Also, the last show at The American Legion was a hit! Big crowd the entire time, and LOTS of dancers! Thank you guys! And, thanks to Tyler Clark & John Mohr for your talents, you sounded great! Local DJ & friend, Lee Bundy, played my song "16 Miles From Our Hometown" @ Cliff's on Saturday night! Gave me the big introduction and everything! People were coming up saying that they really liked it. Great, good times! I'm finishing writing a NEW song, working title is "Sorry," check back for updates on that. Getting more recording done this week, around Thanksgiving. And, planning on taking care of my Christmas shopping and wrapping before December even starts. Karate Chop! Hopefully you guys can make it to a show, and hang out! Would love that! Lastly, thanks to those who came out to Weasel Boy Brewing's Open Mic night, last Thursday. I played a 20 minute set, with the NEW song "Sorry," "Why Should I Even Try," "Cool Kids" by Echosmith, and "Change The World," an Eric Clapton cover. Thanks, and have a Happy Thanksgiving!
